Who We Are

A Repair Station Built Around Solving the Hard Problems

Gulf Coast Aviation Services, LLC (GCAS) has operated as an FAA Part 145 Certified Repair Station out of Willis, Texas since 2018. We serve commercial operators, MRO partners, OEMs, and government customers who need aviation work done correctly, documented properly, and returned on schedule.

What sets us apart is the pairing of two capabilities that usually live in separate buildings. On one side sits traditional aviation craft: structures and sheet metal, component repair and overhaul, galley and seat servicing, ground support equipment, paint and corrosion control, and tooling. On the other sits a modern manufacturing floor — CNC machining, additive manufacturing, and custom fabrication — that lets us produce a part rather than wait for one.

That combination matters most exactly when your options are thinnest: a discontinued part number, a bracket no supplier stocks, a piece of tooling that failed mid-shift, or a component that came back out of tolerance for the third time. Instead of managing a lead time, we engineer around it.

GCAS is a woman-owned business backed by a management team carrying more than 70 years of combined aviation experience. That experience shows up in the way we quote honestly, communicate proactively, and hand back paperwork that holds up to audit.

Non-Destructive Testing

Ultrasonic, magnetic particle, dye penetrant, and radiographic inspection that identifies cracks, corrosion, and fatigue damage without compromising the integrity of the part being examined.

How We Work

From First Call to Return to Service

No portals to learn, no account manager relay. You talk to the people doing the work.

Tell us the problem, not just the part number

Send drawings, photos, a part number, or a description of what failed. If you are not sure what you need, describe the symptom — diagnosing it is part of the job. We respond to every inquiry within one business day, and immediately when an aircraft is grounded.

We scope the work and quote a real turn time

You get a written quote covering scope, price, and a delivery date we have actually checked against the shop schedule. Where an inspection is needed before we can commit, we say so up front rather than quoting a number we would have to revise later.

The work gets done — and you hear from us while it does

Repair, machining, inspection, and finishing happen in house under our Part 145 certificate. If we find something outside the original scope, you hear about it before we act on it, with the cost and schedule impact attached.

Return to service with documentation that holds up

Parts ship with the traceability, inspection results, and return-to-service paperwork your records and auditors require. Nothing leaves with a documentation gap you will have to chase us about six months later.

Credentials

Certified Where It Counts

Our FAA Part 145 Repair Station certificate is what allows us to perform, approve, and document maintenance work — and it is the reason our paperwork holds up when your records get audited. Our Woman-Owned Small Business status helps prime contractors and government buyers meet participation goals without trading away capability.

Certificates, registration data, and our capability statement are all available for download — no form to fill out first.
